I am on your webiste am I now protected?

The ID Cleanse Website https://idcleanse.com serves the primary purpose of enabling us to transact business with you.  In order to get ID Cleanse Protection you must 1) Select and Subscribe (checkout) to an ID Cleanse Plan, 2) We will ship a router to you, 3) You will install the router we ship to you at your home, 4) You are protected!

Does ID Cleanse protect me when I am not in my home?

At launch ID Cleanse is a home protection service.  Our technology road-map provides for roaming protection that enhances our service in the future.  We anticipate having a mobile app for both Android and Apple devices that allows you to keep your ID Cleanse protection when you are away from home.  You must remain aware that we can protect you from Internet threats …however, cell tower tracking capabilities, or “ping” data is only preventable through use of a burner device. 

I've tried other technology that was too difficult to use. What make ID Cleanse any different?

I've read about Internet Browser Fingerprinting. Does ID Cleanse prevent that?

The short answer is it depends.  If the finger-printer is a known big data warehouse then yes we block that.  However, many valid companies that you want to do business with will fingerprint your browser for security purposes.  While we believe there is a better way – we also want to make  sure you can do your online banking and shopping.  So we do not attempt to block all fingerprinting.  Our road map does call for introduction of disposable fingerprints and we look forward to developing that for you in the future.

Does the ID Cleanse service break any website so that I can't use them?

It is impossible for ID Cleanse to verify every single website on the Internet.  We make every effort to block the most notorious trackers out there while permitting banking and other critical consumer sites to function properly.  We provide a “quick bypass” option for you to use if a website seems broken.  You should use this option with caution as it removes ALL ID Cleanse Ad Blocks.

How much does the ID Cleanse WiFi router cost?

Because we provide the ID Cleanse WiFi router as part of our service to you there is no purchase price or option for the device itself.  You will want to save your packaging since return of this equipment is required should you cancel our service.

What are the specification of the ID Cleanse WiFi Router?

We use the most recently available hardware in the market to provide a platform for our software.  We do not publish the technical specifications of this hardware as the are subject to change without notice.  We are responsible to ensure you get the best performance possible in the market today.

The ID Cleanse Privacy Policy allows you to take great liberties with my data. What makes you any different from any other Internet scoundrel?

As a startup company we have leveraged the open source software community to develop our Website.  We are taking great pains to ensure that we limit our collection and use of your information for features and capabilities we must have to deliver the service to you.  As we grow we are scouring the source code to eliminate collection of your data wherever possible.  It is true that our policy is a bit more broad as we work to reduce how the website functions and we will revise the policy when we are confident that no data is collected that we aren’t aware of.  We will also implement cookie deletion when you leave our site.  These are all road-map items that we intend to clean up before scaling our business. Furthermore we will NOT utilize Google, Facebook or other commercial intrusion tools to “understand” our customer behavior. We will communicate directly with you, after you are a customer, to gain that understanding.
